The 12th Session of the United Nations Forum on Forests will be held in New York from 1-5 May 2017. The Agenda items include the following:
- Implementation of the new United Nations Strategic Plan for Forest (2017-2030). Document can be accessed at the UNFF website
- Contribution of Forests to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- Enhanced cooperation, coordination and engagement on forest related issues
- Eradicating poverty and promoting prosperity in a changing world
- Transformation toward sustainable and resilient societies
