From 12 – 19 November 2013, the UNIDO Institute and the Energy and Climate Change Branch will conduct a Professional Development Programme on Sustainable Energy Solutions. It will be organized in cooperation with the International Centre for Promotion of Enterprises (ICPE) in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The 8 day course shall give participants the opportunity to familiarize themselves with current and expected trends in sustainable energy solutions and to reflect on practical, innovative and cost effective ways to address sustainability problems within the energy industry.
Participation in the course is open to current and future policymakers, middle level managers and experts from emerging and developing countries engaged in the design and implementation of energy polices, projects and programmes as well as to other stakeholders from industry, nongovernmental organizations, academia or independent research institutions. For 25 selected participants, UNIDO and ICPE will cover travel costs, catering and accommodation.
