Thirty-two years experience working on forestry and NRM issues in several countries in both S.E. Asia and Sub Saharan Africa. As both an applied researcher and environmental historian I am particularly keen to add the historical sciences to interdisciplinary research, and to exted timelines to enable researchers to more clearly identify trends as well as the changing drivers of land use and land cover change.
