I have been grown up as a native forest silviculturist with amount of experiences in different forest rehabilitation programs in varied areas in Indonesia. He finished his undergraduate program at Silviculture Department Gadjah Mada University by submitting his final project on silviculture of teak.I am also following intensive research, the program has established an improved silviculture system, furthermore it has been adopted by the Ministry of Forestry and has been awarded as one among 100 best innovative findings in Indonesia. The system consisted of optimum gap (line) planting with selected fast-growing dipterocarp and was accompanied by intensive maintenances. The group also has established a network for the model company that adopted the system. Silviculture system has been practiced at 75,000 Ha with prospective results for supporting the sustainability of timber stock and economic viability of the concessionaires. The ITTO post-project reviewer panel has considered the succeed and sustainability of the program among the few and would make it a model for other ITTO funded project. As part of his role at the group, I also submitted his Master Thesis on Silviculture of Native Forest in Central Kalimantan.
